THE BIG SHOW

With ever evolving technology, every video wall project is an opportunity to create something that’s never been seen before. When you put a group of insanely talented builders, architects, engineers, and artists eager to change the world into the same room, sparks will fly. Numbers become sparks, sparks become pixels, and pixels become remarkable stories never heard before. The the work here shows what it looks like when sparks light fires.

MICROSOFT STORES
I worked with the Microsoft Store team as Senior Motion Designer developing a content strategy for a video wall system built into each of their worldwide retail locations. The system was configured with motion sensors, facial recognition, live video, touch screens and an amazing 3D sound system. We put together a truly remarkable retail experience unlike any other. The pics at left, show a bit of the system layout and a few samples from the series of gigapixel panoramas we shot at National Parks throughout the PNW. Every frame has a resolution of over 6 billion pixels!

AEROPOSTALE TIMES SQUARE
I've designed and animated a number of multiscreen billboards in Times Square. Pictured here is a look at some of the work I did for Aeropostale's flagship store. The installation put live cameras on the street linked to the display where passersby could interact with the content on screen.

DEF LEPPARD
I’ve been fortunate to work with Def Leppard a few times creating visual hysteria for the giant video wall system they use on tour. The wall used live 3D motion capture of the band members allowing for an amazing array of realtime interactive effects. Helping the band put on a BIG show ranks 4th in my top ten gigs of all time.
